    Technical Specification for the Selection of PVB Interlayer in Laminated Glass


    PVB film is the core component of laminated glass; choosing the right thickness doubles its safety. Standard thicknesses are 0.38 mm, 0.76 mm, 1.14 mm, 1.52 mm, and 2.28 mm, with a tolerance of ±0.03 mm. For architectural applications, PVB film must meet the following performance criteria: volatile organic compound content of 0.35%–0.55%, tensile strength ≥ 20 MPa, elongation at break ≥ 250%, and light transmittance ≥ 85%.
