When selecting the thickness, consider the following: the type of substrate glass, its thickness and dimensions, the application environment, and any special requirements. General architectural principles: the thicker the substrate, the larger the dimensions; the thicker the PVB. Does tempered glass deform significantly? A PVB thickness of 0.38–0.76 mm is sufficient! Bent tempered glass features a unique curvature, with a minimum PVB thickness starting at 2.28 mm.
